Your baby's first Halloween is a very exciting time for parents, who often are searching high and low for the perfect costume and prepare to be tons of pictures with friends and family. But before you and baby hit the trail trick or treat, read over these helpful tips to make sure the holiday memorable for all the right reasons.

1) Avoid constricting costumes and accessories - tight costumes and masks can be very uncomfortable and scary for a baby, and many will cry or fight against any costume which restricts movement. There is a wide selection of costumes for babies and children who use small caps instead of the mask, leaving the child face uncovered. Make sure that the costumes also allow the child to move freely.

2) Note the other costumes that May be too scary - Kids can be pretty scared in front of other people in masks or costumes.
