Hey, let's face it, soon the U.S. will go through the same problems that Japan through its aging population, as it has not been able to replace the huge number of old with the number of new born. Even worse, pay for all the elderly people in retirement, it meant a huge burden on the current generation, but it also means economic stagnation, as well as by economic theory and simple mathematics.
Not so long ago, one scholar noted that our population is aging boomers and so is my acquaintance took up this question in an interview said that "the population is aging boomers, a medical crisis occurs the value of the boomers will be negative for world, and the concept of euthanasia will be there ... "
Indeed, I personally can not agree more with this insightful comment and the book "FutureCast" Robert Shapiro was an eye-opener with Ken Dykewald in fact (he is a demographer and worked with two CEOs). This is a problem, it is a demographic thing, and one that does not go away. So, what will happen in the future?
Well, euthanasia would really happen in the U.S.? Interestingly, the socialists and communists have typically and historically the most cruel when rationing of food, care, and resources. Stalin slaughtered millions of people when they can no longer feed them, and Hitler and euthanasia, sterilization, etc. is a common theme.
Indeed, we have more empathy than it is for our older generation, right, I hope so, and yet, as we move to the nation because of the scarcity of our current social trends, things could be, and the unfortunate, therefore, leaving many to rationalize that we have no choice. I'm worried because I do not want to see history repeat itself, so I realize how serious it all really is. Please think about it.
